Help troubleshoot centrifuge electrical faults, overloads, and operational alarms. Support efficient dewatering operations by minimizing centrifuge downtime. Knowledge of VFDs, control panels, breakers, and electrical interlocks associated with centrifuge systems, Improve operational reliability and reduces risk of equipment damage caused by improper operation. Assist with commissioning and field setup of mobile or temporary centrifuge systems. Enhance coordination between operations crews, electricians, and equipment vendors. Provide hands-on field leadership during critical sludge dewatering operations. Help optimize centrifuge performance, throughput, and operational efficiency. Reduce dependence on third-party technical support for routine operational troubleshooting<br><br><strong>Why work for Clean Harbors?</strong><br><br><ul><li><strong>Health and Safety is our #1 priority, and we live it 3-6-5!</strong></li><li>Comprehensive health benefits coverage after 30 days of full-time employment.</li><li>Group RRSP with company matching component.</li><li>Opportunities for growth and development for all the stages of your career.</li><li>Positive and safe work environments.</li><li>Positive and safe work environments.</li></ul><br><br><b>RESPONSIBILITIES</b><br><br><ul><li>Ensure the Health and Safety our employees and that health and safety is the number one priority through following policies, processes, and acting in a safe manner at all times.</li><li>Supervising, scheduling, coordinating, and developing the service and maintenance of our equipment.</li><li>Conducts toolbox talks as per company policy.</li><li>Maintains constant communication with the supervisors; keeping them informed of job progress and estimated timeframes when manpower and equipment will be released.</li><li>Maintains and fosters excellent customer relations.</li><li>Contributes to the training and mentorship program for all new hires and supports the development of senior operators by providing guidance and development opportunities.</li><li>Ensures that all inspections and maintenance request are completed.</li><li>Ensures job permits are obtained for each job in a timely manner according to the customer's permit procedures.</li><li>Ensures all completed paperwork meets regulatory requirements and safety deadlines.</li><li>Takes all phone calls from employees and other internal customers in a professional and courteous manner; fostering strong relationships with all customers;</li><li>Provides a daily schedule of the employees' activity</li><li>Manages and dispatches a daily schedule for all employees -to manage the board and get people out to work</li><li>Communicates daily with all employees to confirm awareness of schedule and to promote employee engagement</li><li>Assist branch manager with the hiring and onboarding of temp/seasonal labour pool employees; submission of workflows and Driver applications, maintaining personnel files and system databases;</li><li>Schedules and assigns training as required;</li></ul><br><br><b>QUALIFICATIONS</b><br><br><ul><li>Minimum of 5-years' experience within the Industrial Services or Dredging and Dewatering equipment/ industry.</li><li>Minimum of 1-year supervisory and planning experience in an industrial services environment.</li><li>Strong written and verbal communication skills.</li><li>Effective organizational skills coupled with the ability to multi-task;</li><li>Strong computer skills.</li><li>Valid driver's license - Class 3 or 1 preferred with clean 5-year driver's abstract.</li></ul><br><b>Wondering what to expect in starting your career with Clean Harbors? </b><br><br><b>40-years of sustainability in action. </b>At Clean Harbors, our mission is to create a safer, cleaner environment through the treatment, recycling, and disposal of hazardous materials.
