{"tool":"get_job","result":{"requisitionId":"161561","client":"Clean Harbors Corporate - CAN","title":"Mobile Licensed Heavy Duty Mechanic","description":"Clean Harbors <strong>Edmonton AB</strong> is looking for a <strong>Licensed Heavy Duty Mobile Mechanic</strong> to join their safety conscious team! <br><br>This position will be responsible for routine maintenance, inspections, and repairing of all company fleet at branch and client locations throughout the area.<br><br><strong>Job Type</strong><br><br><ul><li>Permanent (full-time) position</li></ul><br><strong>Why work for Clean Harbors?</strong><br><br><ul><li>Health and Safety is our #1 priority and We Live It 3-6-5!</li><li>Competitive wages.</li><li>Comprehensive health benefits coverage & healthcare spending account after 30 days of full-time employment.</li><li>Group RRSP with company matching component after 90 days of full-time employment.</li><li>Eligible to participate in the employee company stock purchase program.</li><li>Discounts with a variety of Canadian manufacturers and service providers.</li><li>Opportunities for growth and development for all the stages of your career.</li><li>Positive and safe work environments.</li></ul><br><br><b>RESPONSIBILITIES</b><br><br><ul><li>Ensuring that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and always acting in a safe manner.</li><li>Complete and follow requirements of Field Level Hazard and Job Hazard assessments.</li><li>Perform thorough inspections of equipment and identify required repairs.</li><li>Work independently on customer sites often.</li><li>Perform routine and specific maintenance on company vehicles and equipment.</li><li>Inspect and diagnose components and equipment for servicing needs.</li><li>Complete repair orders.</li><li>Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair equipment and light and heavy duty vehicles.</li><li>Communicate equipment servicing needs as required with Supervisor.</li><li>Complete warranty information.</li><li>Disassemble, inspect, fit and replace worn or broken parts.</li><li>Carry out housekeeping duties.</li><li>Complete required documentation and daily samsara logs in an accurate and timely manner.</li></ul><br><br><b>QUALIFICATIONS</b><br><br><ul><li>Licensed/Journeyman Heavy Duty Mechanic. </li><li>3+ years' experience working as a Heavy Equipment Technician/Mechanic. </li><li>Previous experience working with Hydraulics is an asset.</li><li>Previous experience working on Vacuum Trucks is an asset.</li><li>Ability to use (J Pro) diagnostic software</li><li>Class 5 Driver's License required.</li></ul><br><strong>40-years of sustainability in action.
