Wage range for this position: $48+</li><li>Compressed afternoon weekend work week; Tuesday to Friday and 1pm start time, with the occasional opportunity to work overtime.</li><li>Comprehensive health benefits coverage after 30 days of full-time employment.</li><li>Group RRSP with company matching component.</li><li>Generous paid time off, company paid training and tuition reimbursement.</li><li>Positive and safe work environments.</li><li>Opportunities for growth and development for all the stages of your career.</li></ul><br><br><b>RESPONSIBILITIES</b><br><br><ul><li>Ensuring that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and always acting in a safe manner.</li><li>Complete and follow requirements of Field Level Hazard and Job Hazard assessments.</li><li>Conducts Safety Checks & Annual Vehicle Inspections in accordance with provincial & federal laws.</li><li>Perform thorough inspections (CVIP) of equipment and identify required repairs.</li><li>Perform all required maintenance and repairs to various types of equipment, tanker tailers and heavy-duty trucks;</li><li>Inspect and diagnose components and equipment for servicing needs.</li><li>Perform maintenance which follows the manufacturer guidelines;</li><li>Complete repair orders.</li><li>Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair equipment and light and heavy duty vehicles.</li><li>Communicate equipment servicing needs as required with Supervisor.</li><li>Complete warranty information.</li><li>Disassemble, inspect, fit and replace worn or broken parts.</li><li>Carry out housekeeping duties.</li><li>Complete all required documentation and in an accurate and timely manner.</li></ul><br><br><b>QUALIFICATIONS</b><br><br><ul><li>Licensed Mechanic Certification (310T license)</li><li><strong>5</strong> + years' experience in maintaining of one or more of the following units: pickup trucks, tractors, and trailers;</li><li>Familiarity with the various types of diesel engines;</li><li>Ability to oversee, coach and mentor all apprentices and other shop laborers;</li><li>Ability to work in a team environment.</li><li>Must be versed in all aspects e.g. electrical, computer, ECMs, fuel, air systems, ABS, hydraulic systems, engines etc.</li><li>Ability or get or have DriveOn.</li><li>Valid full drivers license. </li></ul><br><strong>40-years of sustainability in action.
