Licensed wage range for this position is $38- 45/hour.</li><li>Monday to Friday daytime work week, with occasional opportunity to work weekends/overtime.</li><li>Comprehensive health benefits coverage after 30 days of full-time employment.</li><li>Group RRSP with company matching component.</li><li>Generous paid time off, company paid training and tuition reimbursement.</li><li>Positive and safe work environments.</li><li>Opportunities for growth and development for all the stages of your career.</li></ul><br><br><b>RESPONSIBILITIES</b><br><br><ul><li>Ensuring that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and always acting in a safe manner.</li><li>Complete and follow requirements of Field Level Hazard and Job Hazard assessments.</li><li>Perform thorough inspections of equipment and identify required repairs.</li><li>Perform routine and specific maintenance on company vehicles and equipment.</li><li>Inspect and diagnose components and equipment for servicing needs.</li><li>Complete repair orders.</li><li>Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair equipment and light and heavy duty vehicles.</li><li>Communicate equipment servicing needs as required with Supervisor.</li><li>Complete warranty information.</li><li>Disassemble, inspect, fit and replace worn or broken parts.</li><li>Carry out housekeeping duties.</li><li>Complete required documentation and daily samsara logs in an accurate and timely manner.</li></ul><br><br><b>QUALIFICATIONS</b><br><br><ul><li>Licensed/Journeyman or 3rd Apprentice Heavy Duty Mechanic (310T License).</li><li>3+ years' experience working as a Heavy Equipment Technician/Mechanic. </li><li>Previous experience working with Hydraulics is an asset.</li><li>Previous experience working on Class 8 trucks and tankers trailers is an asset.</li><li>Ability to use (J Pro) diagnostic software.</li><li>Class G Driver's License required.</li></ul><br><strong>40-years of sustainability in action.
