The successful candidate will be responsible for the performance of tasks associated with container turnaround/cleaning on site, flagman for landfill dumps, painting, housekeeping and all other labor duties around the site. <br><br><strong>Why work for Safety-Kleen?</strong><br><ul><li>Health and Safety is our #1 priority, and we live it 3-6-5!</li><li>Competitive wages starting at: $25.00</li><li>Schedule: Mon-Fri- 12:00 - 8:00pm (Potential for overtime)</li><li>Comprehensive health benefits coverage after 30 days of full-time employment.</li><li>Group RRSP with company matching component.</li><li>Generous paid time off, company paid training and tuition reimbursement.</li><li>Positive and safe work environments.</li><li>Opportunities for growth and development for all the stages of your career.</li></ul><br><br><b>RESPONSIBILITIES</b><br><br><ul><li>Ensures Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times;</li><li>Operates oil filter crusher machine;</li><li>Prepares bulk wastes for shipment to other Safety-Kleen, Clean Harbors and/or 3rd party locations;</li><li>Completes and submits all associated paperwork as required for waste tracking movements;</li><li>Operates a forklift when necessary, responsible for performing and documenting daily safety check prior to operating;</li><li>Completes daily/weekly facility inspections as required;</li><li>Ensures that work meets all applicable Health and Safety Standard Operating Procedures;</li><li>Ensures, understands, and has ownership for area specific permit required compliance standards;</li><li>Inventory and ensure warehouse, loading and unloading areas are cleaned and organized at all times.</li></ul><br><br><b>QUALIFICATIONS</b><br><br><ul><li>Previous warehouse experience is an asset;</li><li>Hazardous materials work experience preferred;</li><li>Forklift experience considered an asset;</li><li>Valid G License required; </li><li>Dependable and detail-oriented;</li><li>Strong Customer service skills required; </li><li>Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis;</li><li>Willing to train the right candidate. </li></ul><br><strong>Over 40 years of sustainability in action.
