This is a permanent full-time position, travelling up to 50% of the time. Monday to Friday 6am-3:30pm, 10 hour days. This can transition into 7 days/week when traveling or working on shutdowns. Clean Drivers abstract will be required during the hiring process.<br><br><strong>Why work for Clean Harbors?</strong><br><ul><li>Health and Safety is our #1 priority and We Live It 3-6-5!</li><li>Competitive wages, starting at $47/hr.</li><li>Comprehensive health benefits coverage & healthcare spending account after 30 days of full-time employment.</li><li>Group RRSP with company matching component after 90 days of full-time employment.</li><li>Eligible to participate in the employee company stock purchase program.</li><li>Discounts with a variety of Canadian manufacturers and service providers.</li><li>Opportunities for growth and development for all the stages of your career.</li><li>Generous paid time off, company paid training and tuition reimbursement </li><li>Positive and safe work environments.</li></ul><br><br><b>RESPONSIBILITIES</b><br><br><ul><li>Ensuring that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and always acting in a safe manner.</li><li>Complete and follow all Field Level Hazard Assessments (FLHAs) and Job Hazard Assessments (JHAs).</li><li>Perform inspections, diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairs on light-duty and heavy-duty vehicles and various types of equipment.</li><li>Conduct routine, preventive, and corrective maintenance to ensure equipment reliability and performance.</li><li>Complete and maintain warranty documentation.</li><li>Disassemble, inspect, and replace worn, damaged, or defective components as required.</li><li>Work independently at customer sites with minimal supervision.</li><li>Complete all required documentation, including daily Samsara logs, accurately and in a timely manner.</li></ul><br><br><b>QUALIFICATIONS</b><br><br><ul><li>Journeyman Heavy Duty Mechanic/Technician certification</li><li>3+ years' experience working as a Heavy Equipment Technician/Mechanic. </li><li>Previous experience working with Hydraulics is an asset.</li><li>Previous experience working on Vacuum Trucks is an asset.</li><li>Ability to use (J Pro) diagnostic software</li><li>Class 5 Driver's License required with a clean drivers abstract.</li></ul><br><strong>40-years of sustainability in action.
