The role oversees crew activities, equipment readiness, operational efficiency, safety compliance, and accurate, timely completion of job documentation. <br><br>*<strong>Although this position is based out of our Field Services head office in Guelph, ON -it requires flexibility to travel throughout Ontario. *</strong><br><br><strong>Why work for Clean Harbors? </strong><br><ul><li>Health and Safety is our #1 priority, and we live it 3-6-5!</li><li>Competitive Compensation: $40-$46/hr. based on experience. </li><li>Comprehensive health benefits coverage after 30 days of full-time employment.</li><li>Group RRSP with matching Component.</li><li>Ability to participate in the company Employee Stock Purchase Plan.</li><li>Opportunities for growth and development for all the stages of your career</li><li>Generous paid time off, company paid training and tuition reimbursement.</li><li>Positive and safe work environments.</li></ul><br><br><b>RESPONSIBILITIES</b><br><br><ul><li>Prioritize Health, Safety & Compliance - Ensuring Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and always acting in a safe manner.</li><li>Coordinate field service and emergency response projects, including personnel, equipment, resources, and timelines.</li><li>Manage work orders, permits, confined-space entries, and job documentation.</li><li>Lead safety meetings and provide direction and training to technicians and operators.</li><li>Liaise with customers and Project Managers to resolve issues and ensure customer satisfaction.</li><li>Oversee site remediation, equipment decontamination, and hazardous materials handling.</li><li>Conduct equipment and site inspections and correct safety or operational deficiencies.</li><li>Participate in rotating on-call emergency response and ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule.</li></ul><br><br><b>QUALIFICATIONS</b><br><br><ul><li>Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.</li><li>Environmental field service supervisory/management experience.</li><li>Experience in industrial emergency response, Hazmat cleanup, and confined-space operations preferred.</li><li>Available for on-call emergency response leadership.</li><li>Proven project management experience, including vendor coordination, issue resolution, and documentation review.</li><li>Strong professional communication and customer service skills.</li><li>Physically capable of working in confined spaces and performing job-related duties.</li><li>Ability to successfully complete background, drug, and physical assessments.</li></ul><br><strong>40-years of sustainability in action. </strong>At Clean Harbors, our mission is to create a safer, cleaner environment through the treatment, recycling, and disposal of hazardous materials. <strong>Clean Harbors</strong> is the leading provider of environmental, energy and industrial services throughout the United States, Canada, Mexico and Puerto Rico.
