Responsible for maintaining Company equipment both in the branch office/yard as well as to respond to service calls in various remote locations and client sites.<br><br><strong>Why work for Clean Harbors?</strong><br><ul><li>Health and Safety is our #1 priority and we live it 3-6-5!</li><li>Competitive wages;</li><li>Comprehensive health benefits coverage after 30 days of full-time employment;</li><li>Group RRSP with company matching component;</li><li>Generous paid time off, company paid training and tuition reimbursement;</li><li>Positive and safe work environments;</li><li>Opportunities for growth and development for all the stages of your career.</li></ul><br><br><b>RESPONSIBILITIES</b><br><br><ul><li>Ensuring that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times;</li><li>Rigging in and Rig out, repair and maintain Solids Control Equipment; </li><li>Sit in on client location on a rotating day or night shift as scheduled to ensure equipment runs efficiently;</li><li>Troubleshoot and repair minor electrical issues as well as any other issues that arise;</li><li>Complete all required paper work daily (safety documents, JSA's, work orders, service records and daily reports);</li><li>Work in shop during slow periods to assist in the maintenance and repair of all Clean Harbors equipment;</li><li>Service and maintain solids control equipment on a weekly basis;</li><li>Perform all required maintenance and repairs to various types of rental equipment;</li><li>Perform maintenance which follows the manufacturer guidelines for service times and inspections by requesting additional information, as required, from the establishment in which the equipment was purchased;</li><li>Ensure all equipment in need for repair has been approved for repair by the Shop Superintendent or Branch Management;</li><li>Notify management when repaired equipment is ready for use.</li></ul><br><br><b>QUALIFICATIONS</b><br><br><ul><li>Valid Class 5 Driver's License required;</li><li>Must have experience maintaining, and Rig in/out Solids Control Equipment - Centrifuges, Pumps</li><li>First-Aid and H2S Alive safety tickets are required upon hire;</li><li>Ability to travel for 1-4 weeks;</li><li>Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills;</li><li>Superior communication skills, attention to detail, organizational and analytical skills;</li><li>Ability to oversee, coach and mentor apprentices and other shop laborers.</li></ul><br><strong>40-years of sustainability in action. </strong>Clean Harbors is the leading provider of environmental, energy and industrial services throughout the United States, Canada, Mexico and Puerto Rico.
